INDICATIONS

Ferrosil Mamma solution is a highly absorbable iron food supplement with a pleasant taste because it is microencapsulated in liposomes. It is indicated to counteract a form of anemia in pregnancy which is called gestational iron deficiency anemia.

DOSAGE

Take 5-10 ml of Ferrosil mamma equal to 20/40 mg of elemental iron as needed, unless otherwise indicated by the doctor.
5 ml contain 20 mg of elemental iron and 100 mg of Vitamin C.

COMPOSITION

Liposome microencapsulated iron pyrophosphate, Vitamin C.

CHARACTERISTICS

The iron used is the iron pyrophosphate carried inside a double phospholipid membrane. This technology, compared to other oral formulations, has a high gastrointestinal absorption and a high bioavailability with a lower incidence of side effects. Also worth noting is a considerable improvement in taste and palatability with a consequent increase in product compliance.
