COMPOSITION

Serenoa repens : has the active ingredients capable of producing anti-estrogenic and antiandrogenic effects which manifest themselves through the inhibition of 5-alpha-reductase.

The Serenoa hinders the DHT production process which causes the miniaturization of the hair, starting the most common baldness (androgenetic alopecia).

Studies on Serenoa Repens

The effectiveness of Serenoa Repens as a natural remedy has been demonstrated by numerous scientific analyzes, as well as during the 15th World Congress of Aesthetic Medicine in 2005 held at the Cavalieri Hilton Congress Center in Rome. The clinical evaluation showed, through laboratory tests, a significant increase in the mass and volume of the hair as well as demonstrating a simultaneous reduction of excessive sebaceous secretion, without giving rise to side effects. The verification made it possible to ascertain that Serenoa Repens is able to block the action of DHT at the level of the bulb and improve the structure of the hair, providing for thickening the areas affected by thinning.

Biotin : also known as vitamin B7, vitamin H or Coenzyme R has the property of strengthening keratin, the main constituent of nails and hair by activating the metabolism of cells that replicate more, with positive effects on hair volume and nail strength. It has been noted in numerous studies that its deficiency causes skin peeling and nail fragility. Specifically, this vitamin creates a harder keratin to prevent the nail from unraveling and to regulate the production of sebum in the scalp.

Zinc : promotes keratinous synthesis by stimulating tissue regeneration. A 2013 study, published in the journal Annals of Dermatology, looked at 312 people with hair loss and found that all had lower zinc levels than people in the control group. In fact, zinc plays a fundamental role in the correct assimilation of proteins and in the development of the hair. Not surprisingly, a low assimilation of zinc (due, for example, to the abuse of alcoholic beverages) leads to abundant loss and consequent thinning of the hair. Zinc deficiency can also cause brittle and blotchy nails.

Lycopene : has antioxidant properties, it is also used in the treatment of damaged hair.

Bambu : organic silicon has regenerating and remineralizing properties.

Vitamin E : antioxidant action, strengthens and improves the protective effects of the other components.

COMPOSITION

Serenoa repens : its fruits contain glycerides, phytosterols and derivatives of beta-sitosterol, fatty acids, polysaccharides, tannins, sugars and flavonoids. Numerous studies have, in fact, demonstrated a finasteride-like action aimed at decreasing the transformation of testosterone into DHT with an inhibitory effect of 5-alpha reductase. Serenoa is also able to reduce the growth of epithelial cells, smooth muscle hyperplasia and interstitial edema of the prostate itself. All these actions improve the symptoms of BPH, the quality and quantity of urinary urination by decreasing the frequency of urination, the perineal tension, the residual volume of urine and the prostatic volume. All this in the face of a low incidence of numerous side effects with the use of traditional drugs.

Lycopene : the supply of this substance is associated with a lower risk of prostate cancer. This effect appears to be due to the ability to reduce oxidative stress by trapping peroxyl radicals, inhibiting the oxidation of DNA and the oxidation of low-density LDL lipoproteins.

Zinc : inhibits the activity of the enzyme that converts testosterone into DHT, Salfa-reductase. It reduces the secretion of prolactin, a hormone that implements the recall of testosterone in the prostate, consequently increasing the production of DHT. By reducing the synthesis of prolactin, zinc also ensures lower DHT. By strengthening the immune defenses against bacteria, it helps reduce prostate inflammation.
