Biphasil® is a medical device useful for intimate hygiene at the end of the menstrual cycle.

Indications

Biphasil® is an innovative preparation in terms of formulation and method of use. It is a ready-to-use, biphasic lavender consisting of two well-separated solutions that are released into the vagina by simply squeezing the bottle. The water-based blue phase with detergent activity is released first, followed by the transparent oil-gel phase which, thanks to the bio-adhesion process, guarantees a uniform and effective distribution of the functional substances of the preparation on the mucosa. A protective film is formed at the level of the vaginal mucosa which allows to maintain and possibly facilitate the restoration of the physiological conditions of the vaginal mucosa in case of inflammatory processes and infections of various kinds.

Action

In cases of acute vaginal itching and burning; in case of heavy vaginal discharge; as an adjunct in the treatment of symptoms of vaginal infections of various kinds.

How does Biphasil® work?

Furthermore, it promotes cell trophism and the restoration of normal physiological conditions in women suffering from vaginal atrophy and dryness.

Method of use and dosage

Apply once a day or according to medical prescription.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Do not shake the product before use.
2. Hold the bottle by the ring and press the cannula cap with your finger until the safety seal breaks.
3. Extract the cannula from the bottle as far as it will go, ie until a small click is heard and tilt it at about 45 °. ATTENTION: only if the cannula is extracted correctly does the liquid come out of the dispenser at the time of administration. If this does not happen, extract the cannula further until the click is heard.
4. Invert the bottle with the cannula facing downwards so that the two solutions of Biphasil® are arranged with the blue phase in correspondence with the cannula and with the transparent phase upwards of the bottle.
5. Gently introduce the cannula deep into the vaginal canal.
6. Compress the bottle until it is completely empty, keeping it vertical, so that first the blue solution and then the clear solution flow into the vagina.

Warnings and Contraindications

Store in a dry place, away from light and heat sources, at a controlled temperature below 30 ° C. The expiry date refers to the intact and correctly stored product.
There are no known or expected side effects related to the use of the product. The tests carried out on the product to date have not shown sensitization phenomena or other side effects. In case of persistent discomfort, consult your doctor.
