Bizetaflox pediatric is a food supplement based on sodium butyrate (sodium salt of butyric acid) and zinc oxide.

Butyric acid, in the intestine, is an important source of energy for the cells of the mucosa.

A correct amount of butyric acid in our body can provide support for the intestinal mucosa and, as a consequence, for the general well-being of the person.

Sodium butyrate (NaBu) (the sodium salt of butyric acid) is a short-chain fatty acid (SCFAs: Short Chan Fatty Acids: butyric, acetic, propionic and valeric acids) composed of four carbon atoms. Butyric acid is a natural by-product of the fermentation of dietary fibers in the large intestine; is the main source of energy for mucosal cells; stimulates the metabolism and physiological maturation of the same and plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of the mucosa and in the repair processes of intestinal lesions; stimulates the reabsorption of water and sodium in the colon; it helps to control intestinal pH by maintaining an unfavorable environment for the development of pathogenic bacteria. The correct amount of butyric acid is therefore necessary for the metabolic health of the colon mucosa and more generally of the whole organism.

Zinc oxide is a source of zinc. Zinc protects cells from oxidative stress and allows the normal function of the immune system.

Sodium Butyrate; bulking agents: cellulose, calcium carbonate; gastro-resistant coating (water, glazing agents: ethylcellulose, ammonium hydroxide; emulsifier: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids, anti-caking agents: sodium carboxymethylcellulose, talc; stabilizer: polydextrose), white coating (glazing agent: polyvinyl alcohol, dye: titanium dioxide; stabilizer: polyethylene glycol; anti-caking agent: talc); anti-caking agents: magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide (nano); zinc oxide.
It does not contain gluten.

How to use

It is recommended to take from 2 tablets per day up to a maximum of 4 tablets per day.
