Blend Three NOVA ARGENTIA oils

Laxative for the treatment of occasional constipation in adults and children, useful for softening the fecal mass and promoting its flow along the intestinal loops, particularly in the case of diverticula. Recommended to avoid efforts during defecation, in cases such as: hernia, hypertension, anorectal vascular disorders, in the presence of haemorrhoids or abdominal, intestinal or rectal surgery.

Components

Vaseline oil, olive oil, almond oil in equal parts.

How to use

- From 6 to 11 years: 2-3 teaspoons per day, in a single dose.
- From 12 years upwards: 2-3 tablespoons per day, in a single dose. Take the product during or after meals, preferably in the evening, at least one hour before sleep. Shake the bottle before use.

Warnings

Do not use in case of concomitant intake of other laxatives or stool softeners. Products with a laxative effect should be used as infrequently as possible and for no more than seven days. A diet rich in liquids favors the effect of the product. Do not use the product if the package is damaged or after the expiry date indicated on the package. Do not use in children under 3 years of age due to the risk of lipoid pneumonia. Keep out of reach of children. Possible side effects: metabolism and nutrition disorders. Liquid paraffin can interfere with the absorption of lipo-nutrients such as vitamins A, D, E, K especially after prolonged use of the product. It can cause isolated cramps or abdominal colic, more common in cases of severe constipation. It can cause rectal oozing (leaking, dripping) of paraffin resulting in anal irritation and itching, rectal bleeding following prolonged use. It can cause lipoid pneumonia and oil embolism, due to accidental inhalation of the product.
Overdose and abuse: the abuse of laxatives, frequent / prolonged use or in excessive doses, causes abdominal pain, persistent diarrhea with consequent loss of water, mineral salts (potassium in particular) and other nourishing factors. Liquid and electrolyte losses must be replaced. Electrolyte imbalances give symptoms such as: thirst, vomiting, weakness, edema, pain in the bones, (osteomalacia) and hypoalbuminemia. In severe cases, dehydration or hypokalaemia may occur, a possible cause of cardiac or neuromuscular dysfunction, especially in the case of concomitant therapy with cardiac glycosides, diuretics or corticosteroids. If constipation episodes occur repeatedly, the doctor should be consulted.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to one of the components; nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain that is acute or of unknown origin; intestinal obstruction or stricture; disorders affecting the gastrointestinal system such as appendicitis, ulcerative colitis, straight bleeding of unknown origin; acute hemorrhoidal crisis with pain and bleeding; severe state of dehydration; people with difficulty in swallowing or who have pathologies (e.g. hiatal hernia) or conditions (e.g. debilitated subjects confined to bed) that carry the risk of regurgitation; colostomy / ileostomy.
