Apis Mellifica 200ch Boiron Homeopathic Medicine

The homeopathic remedy Apis mellifica is obtained from the tincture of the whole bee and its poison diluted in alcohol. It is a valuable remedy in cases of acute inflammation, such as erysipelas, urticaria, solar erythema, rheumatism and many others. In a nutshell Apis is the remedy for acute inflammatory syndrome which has symptoms similar to bee sting.

The homeopathic remedy Apis mellifica is used to treat those symptoms associated with the bee sting. These are manifestations that have an immediate, abrupt and violent onset: the first sign is burning pain followed by itching and then an increase in painful sensation. The painful part is very sensitive to the touch, it is swollen, hot and slightly congested.

Apis mellifica is a muriatic drug with tuberculin diathesis generally used in the following cases

• Acute inflammations of the skin that edema, hives, erythema, measles and rubella
• Inflammatory states of the throat, accompanied by high fever, red pharynx, swollen palate, swollen throat, elongated red uvula and difficulty swallowing
• Eye inflammation accompanied by edema; it is also indicated to prevent relapses of styes, in cases of swollen lower eyelids (eye bags) and in all cases in which there is inflammation, congestion

Worse : with heat, local and general. The state of Apis can arise after repression of sexual expression. Worst at 3 PM
