Stodal Syrup by Boiron is a Syrup for respiratory diseases: dry cough, tracheitis or bronchitis. As a homeopathic medicine, it allows the concomitant use of other pharmacological therapies, where necessary, and can also be used in poly-treated patients.
What Stodal Syrup contains
This homeopathic syrup Contains : 1.17% V / V ethanol, equivalent to 0.046 g per dose for the child and 0.14 g per dose for the adult; sucrose in the amount of 3.775 g per dose for the child and 11.324 g per dose for the adult.
The quantity of sucrose present in STODAL syrup is equal to a maximum of 18.870 g per day for the child and 56.615 g per day for the adult; 0.085% of benzoic acid (preservative) which corresponds to a minimum threshold to exclude any risk of microbiological contamination.
The homeopathic dilutions contained in 3 CH and 6 CH, due to their low molar concentrations, do not normally present chemical toxicity, contraindications, drug interactions, undesirable effects linked to the quantities taken; STODAL syrup as a homeopathic medicine, allows the concomitant use of other pharmacological therapies, where necessary, and can also be used in poly-treated patients.

Pulsatilla 6 CH, Rumex crispus 6 CH, Bryonia 3 CH, Ipeca 3 CH, Spongia tosta 3 CH, Sticta pulmonaria 3 CH, Antimonium tartaricum 6 CH, Myocarde 6 CH, Coccus cacti 3 CH, Drosera TM, aa 0.95 g.
Excipients: simple syrup to taste, 0.340 g of ethanol 96% V / V, 0.085 g of benzoic acid, 0.125 g of caramel.
How to use Stodal Syrup
The dosage for this homeopathic syrup is as follows. The syrup is for oral use and it is recommended to use the measuring cup as a reference, and proceed as follows:
- For adults it is recommended to take 15 ml (equal to 1 tablespoon) 3 - 5 times a day. *
- For children it is recommended to take 5 ml (equal to 1 teaspoon) 3 - 5 times a day. *
* Adjustable intake interval based on the intensity of the tussian crisis.
Proper storage of Stodal Syrup
This medicine does not require any special storage conditions, however it is important to keep the medicine out of the reach and sight of children. It is advisable to keep the product away from sources of heat and humidity. It is also advisable to always close the bottle after each intake in order to preserve the product.
