Box Isotonic Power Gel Cola-Raspberry NamedSport - Isotonic Energy Gel

Based on maltodextrins with different dextrose equivalence (DE6-DE19) and highly branched cyclic dextrins Cluster Dextrin®.

In any sporting practice that lasts more than 45 minutes, it is necessary to restore carbohydrate levels to be able to maintain a high intensity of exercise, as well as to ensure the correct levels of hydration. On a physiological level, it is recommended to take an Isotonic Power Gel> approximately every 30 minutes to prevent muscle glycogen deposits from falling below the performance threshold.

It is important to know that the energy supplied by sugars will be released after a few minutes of ingestion (7-10), while the remaining carbohydrates will release it progressively. This will avoid very marked energy fluctuations and at the same time reduce the risk of too pronounced or too frequent insulin spikes, to the benefit of our sports performance and our long-term health.

The mineral salts contained in this gel contribute to the correct levels of hydration, however we recommend the use of HydraFit> as a complement during physical activity.

Choosing correctly between an isotonic, hypotonic or hypertonic supplement is essential to optimize your sports performance. The isotonic products, rapidly assimilable in the intestinal tract and in the body, guarantee greater energy reintegration and more effective rehydration, especially during intense and prolonged physical activity in high temperature conditions. Hypotonic supplements are only ideal for a better and rapid rehydration, with a consequent decrease in the sensation of thirst. Hypertonic gels and drinks are useful for providing long-term energy but not for rehydrating or energizing quickly. They tend to draw liquids into the intestines with possible side effects, such as abdominal pain and diarrhea.
