Nipple protector in silver, built with a pure 999 silver plate in a truncated cone shape that allows you to cover and protect the nipple.

The outer diameter is 40mm, the height is 15mm, the thickness is 0.2 mm.
The product has a dual purpose: it mechanically protects the breast above and around the nipple and takes advantage of the well-known properties of silver, known since ancient times, to carry out a defensive action against bacteria.
The centuries-old experience shows that in the presence of humidity silver emits substances that perform an action to contrast the formation of bacteria, therefore this system used for many years by millions of women has proved effective in avoiding the problems deriving from nipple fatigue and to prevent the onset of typical breastfeeding pathologies.

How to use

After breastfeeding, apply a drop of milk or water to the inside of the nipple shield and apply it so that it adheres perfectly to the breast.
At the time of breastfeeding and when you decide to remove the nipple protector, remove it gently and wash the breasts with water.
Wash the device with water and neutral detergent before storing it and rinse it with water and dry it before use.

Warnings

Before use, make sure that there are no specific allergies to silver.
If allergic reactions occur, stop using the nipple protector immediately.
The product has been manufactured exclusively for the intended use, i.e. the external protection of the area around the nipple. Any other use is prohibited.
The product is delivered in non-sterile packaging, as it is not for single use; therefore it requires careful cleaning before use, in the event that packages are not perfectly sealed or products are found outside the package, use is absolutely prohibited.
Observe the correct storage procedures indicated below: incorrect storage can cause the integrity of the package to be compromised.
Observe the indications on the state of wear: in the event of signs of wear or other damage, proceed immediately with the replacement.
For disposal, strictly comply with the regulations in force regarding the disposal of special waste.
The instruction manual must be kept for the entire life of the product.
In case of damage or loss of the manual, request a copy from the manufacturer.
Keep the manual and the product out of the reach of children.

storage

Store the product in its box and inside the respective packaging. Keep the box in a cool, dry and clean place and away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
The device, if stored in its packaging and in any case in an environment suitable for the maintenance of silver, has no expiry date.
It is advisable to protect the product outside the packaging with a cloth, to avoid contact with air and exposure to light that cause oxidation.
