bromelain: mixture of two proteolytic enzymes, present in the extract of the stem and the unripe fruit of Ananas comosus, of which the immune modulating, anti-edema, anti-inflammatory, antithrombotic and fibrinolytic activities are known, used in the treatment of inflammatory states, especially if associated with presence of edema.
Contraindication with the use of Bromeda
This supplement is contraindicated for:
- Patients with haemophilia or with coagulation disorders.
- Subjects undergoing treatment with anticoagulants.
