Description
The brace is the alternative to the common splints or casts used for traumas caused by the fracture of the front leg between the radio-ulna and the radio-carpus. It is equipped with three rigid splints: a fixed splint inserted in a pocket located centrally on the back and two lateral splints, equipped with Velcro to allow for the best positioning according to needs. The use of splints guarantees the support and stabilization of the fractured patient for the period of use foreseen by your veterinarian. The brace is made of breathable material that allows daily use as it avoids sweating sores or blisters. If BT Bone is used, we also recommend combining BT Joint, as its use on the sound paw will help the dog better compensate for the load it has to bear due to the deficit of the fractured paw. Once the brace has been mounted around the dog's paw, it is not necessary for the 2 white edges to close around the paw until they touch each other, as the brace is closed by the blue bands and the tutoring action is given by the three splints in the brace.

How to use
Recommendations:
During the period of restraint, it is advisable not to leave the dog alone for too long, because it could try to remove the brace, biting or scratching it. Remove the rigid splints before each wash.

Available in six sizes, all adjustable in width thanks to the straps made of breathable velvet, which allow you to widen or tighten the brace.
