The orthopedic aid is also excellent as a valid alternative to surgery or as excellent post-operative support. The brace, if used without splints, is also useful in case of pathologies such as arthritis or osteoarthritis. In fact, the compressive effect of the material of which it is made increases blood pressure in the area, thus increasing the temperature and consequently reducing the pain caused by pathologies.
Ensuring stability to the injured part often means facilitating its healing. Two angled aluminum side splints inserted in special pockets limit movement, if necessary, by controlling the area to be kept still.
