Sodium Butyrate LSC Slow release MicroCaps - EU patent 2352386. Food for special medical purposes based on microencapsulated sodium butyrate. The patented microcapsule formulation with LSC barrier effect technology is used because: sodium butyrate is a very active molecule but with a high degree of dissociation (pKa 4.82), which without protection would not reach the colon / rectum. Indicated for the dietary treatment of subjects suffering from colon diseases with altered trophism of the intestinal mucosa.

How to use
Take 1-3 capsules a day near meals, in case of difficulty in swallowing you can open the capsule and take the contents by dispersing it in drinks or semi-solid foods (water, milk, fruit juices, yogurt, soups, etc.). Do not cook it and do not expose it to temperatures above 40 ° / 45 ° C in order not to alter the patented protection of sodium butyrate. There are no time limits on the duration of the treatment.
