CALMADOL® SELF-HEATING PATCH

Calmadol® self-heating bands and patch are recommended for muscle and joint pain. In particular, the Calmadol® self-heating patch can be applied all over the body, the Calmadol® self-heating band is suitable for the neck, back and wrist, while the lumbar band can be applied on the lower back.

WHAT THEY ARE AND HOW THEY WORK

The Calmadol® self-heating bands and patch are useful remedies for muscle pain that base their action on Heat Therapy: an ancient remedy that consists in the application of heat to the body for therapeutic purposes, without the use of medicines. The heat stimulates blood circulation by increasing the flow of oxygen to the muscle groups and decreasing the stiffness of the joints. In this way, the heat reduces muscle tension, relieves pain, relaxes and improves mobility.

DURATION AND COMPOSITION

Calmadol® self-heating bands and patch are useful for relieving tense, fatigued or cramping muscles by providing constant therapeutic heat for a period of 8 hours. They are made of non-woven fabric (TNT), transpiring, soft and pleasant to the touch; they also have particular cells containing elements such as iron dust, coal and salt which, in contact with the oxygen in the air, develop heat. They do not contain medicines and are for single use only.

WARNINGS AND CONTRAINDICATIONS

The Calmadol® wraps and patch may induce contraindications. It is therefore important to read the warnings before use.

Discontinue use in case of:

• Discomfort, irritation, excessive heat, burning, swelling, redness or any other change in the skin on which the product has been applied.
• Failure to resolve the problem for which the use of the product was requested.

Do not use in case of:

• Use in conjunction with the application of creams, ointments or other warming products.
• Injured skin.
• Bruising or swelling within the past 48 hours.
• Spillage of cell contents and / or damaged product.

Seek medical advice for patients with circulatory problems, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis and pregnancy.

It is forbidden to heat the devices in any way. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.

HOW TO USE

Before applying the bands or patch, the affected area must be carefully cleaned and dried. Then remove the patch / band from the special protective bag and remove the protective layer. Place the patch / band on the painful area, making it adhere with its entire surface to the skin. It can take about 30 minutes to reach the expected temperature. Wear the product for at least 8 hours.
