mediven struva 35 is applied in the operating room immediately after surgery and remains applied to the operated leg for approximately 1-4 days.

Advantages of the product

Knitted edge : The knitted edge variant of mediven struva 35 is particularly suitable for immobilized patients.

Instep and heel region: The added spun material on the ankle region provides optimal pressure relief and, thanks to the colored marking, exact positioning on the foot.

Open toe : the opening at the tip of the foot guarantees above all the safety of the patient, since at any time it is possible to observe the conditions of the blood circulation and check the hygiene of the interdigital spaces of the foot.

To ensure trouble-free use in the operating room, mediven struva 35 is also available in a sterile version.

Intended use

Circular knitted medical compression stocking for the compression of the lower limbs, mainly used in the prevention and treatment of vascular pathologies and, in general, of swelling.

Material components

66% polyamide, 34% elastane, latex free.

Indications

Physical prophylaxis of pre, intra and postoperative thrombosis in mobilized patients

Prevention and treatment of post-operative and post-traumatic edema and hematoma as well as reduction of associated pain (e.g. in the case of orthopedic or phlebological surgery)

Therapy of venous ulceration in loosened / partially loosened patients compression treatment of acute deep vein thrombosis

Contraindications

Advanced occlusive peripheral arterial disease (if one of the following parameters is present: ABI <0.5, ankle blood pressure <60 mmHg

Big toe pressure <30 mmgH or TcPO2 <20 mmHg on the back of the foot)

Congestive heart failure (NYHA III + IV)

Septic phlebitis

Phlegmasia cerulea dolens

Massive edema of the lower limbs

Pay particular attention in case of

Severe exuding dermatitis

Intolerance to compression material

Strong paresthesia of the limbs

Advanced peripheral neuropathy (e.g. related to diabetes mellitus)

Primary chronic polyarthritis
