Activated carbon (vegetable carbon) has the property of binding to numerous substances and gases. This absorbing power means that it is used in intestinal diseases (diarrhea, dysentery), in meteorism and in poisoning from spoiled food. Meteorism is intestinal bloating caused by excess gas and is often accompanied by abdominal tension and general malaise. The causes are mainly due to fermentation processes of certain foods in the intestine (legumes, fruit, foods rich in sugar), eating disorders, anxiety and stress. If you take charcoal, the stools can be dark. At the indicated doses it has no side effects; it should not be used if there are acute abdominal pain of unknown origin, if there is nausea and vomiting, intestinal obstruction and rectal bleeding.

How to use

Take 4 tablets (equal to 1 g of activated carbon) with water or other drink, half an hour before the main meal and 4 tablets immediately after the meal.

Warnings

It is preferable not to exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of the reach of children under three years of age. The product should be used as part of a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not use after the expiry of the conservation deadline.
