Cardioadvance ox500 pulse oximeter
Description
Class IIA Medical Device.
Oxygen saturation is the percentage of oxyhemoglobin (HbO2) combined with oxygen in relation to total combinable hemoglobin (Hb). It is an important physiological parameter involved in respiration and circulation. This device can be used to measure Oxygen Saturation (SpO2) and Pulse Rate (PR) by finger arterial sensing.
The CardioAdvance Pulse Oximeter, thanks to a fully digital technology, non-invasively measures the actual amount of oxyhemoglobin (HbO2) (oxygen saturation) present in arterial blood using the optical transmission method. The CardioAdvance Pulse Oximeter measures the oxygen saturation and pulse rate of the human body by sensing the finger. It is usable in various fields, such as in the family (home use), hospitals (including the operating rooms of the departments of internal medicine and surgery, the department of anesthesiology, the department of pediatrics and intensive care rooms), medical social care institutions, sports and wellness. It can be used in patients aged between 15 and 60 years.
Use this meter for measurement before or after sport. It is not recommended to use this tool during sporting activities. Do not use for continuous monitoring.
Product features
- Lightweight, portable and simple to use
- Readable LED screen
- Battery low voltage indicator
- Auto power off of the device after 16 seconds when no signal is detected
- The device is equipped with two 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries, which can provide energy for more than 20 hours of operation
- Peak wavelength range of the light emitted by the probe: red light 660nm ± 3; infrared light 905 nm ± 5
- Maximum optical output power of the probe: 1.2 mW for infrared light (905 nm)
Technical specifications
1. Display view:
SpO2 oxygen saturation - 35-100%
Pulse rate PR - 25-250 bpm
2. Resolution:
SpO2 oxygen saturation - 1%
Pulse rate PR - 1 bpm
3. Accuracy:
SpO2 oxygen saturation - ±2% (70% to 100%); not available ≤69%
Pulse Rate PR - ±2 bpm
How to use
Insert a finger deep inside the rubber cavity of the Pulse Oximeter, keep the nail surface facing up and release the clip. Then press the power key to turn on the pulse oximeter. If you do not insert your finger fully into the cavity, measurement errors may occur.
Note: Before each test, clean your finger and the rubber part of the oximeter that contacts your finger using medical grade alcohol. The rubber part of the oximeter is intended for medical use and is therefore non-toxic, it cannot cause allergic skin reactions.
-Reading the measured data of oxygen saturation and pulse rate from the LED screen
- Do not vibrate your finger during measurement.
Make sure you don't move your body. After the readings stabilize, read the measured values of Oxygen Saturation and Pulse Rate on the LED screen.
– The Pulse Oximeter will automatically turn off after 16 seconds with no signal.
Operating temperature: 5°C-40°C
Relative Humidity: 15%-80%, non-condensing
Atmospheric pressure: 700hPa-1,060hPa
Rated Voltage: DC 3.0V
