Topical treatment of dermatitis, contact eczema, insect bites, rashes, erythema

It is a treatment with cortison-like action acting favorably on allergic and inflammatory reactions of the skin and on itching: Topical treatment of neurodermatitis (especially chronic), allergic and inflammatory dermatitis and dermatosis, eczema, contact eczema, urticaria, insect bites , rashes. It quickly soothes itching and can be used as an effective alternative in the treatment intervals with classic therapies (risky causing side effects). Its use allows to reduce or even stop the use of antihistamines, halogenated corticosteroids and hydrocortisone.

Indicated in case of

allergic and inflammatory dermatitis, non-specific skin inflammation, skin redness of various origins and localization with or without lesions, contact eczema, rashes from medicines and detergents, hives, itching, atopic neurodermatitis, cradle cap with local inflammation, insect bites. Its use mostly refers to acute treatments but it is also suitable for prolonged therapies given its good tolerability.

The mechanism of action consists in the intervention on an important step of the inflammatory process, the arachidonic acid cascade. Stabilization action on the cell membrane with reduction of the entry of Ca ++ ions into the intracellular space and brake on the arachidonic acid cascade: it exerts a modulating rather than suppressive effect, so as not to compromise the synthesis of the cell wall of the epidermis and therefore not to cause dry skin.

How to use

It is advisable to apply small quantities of cream on the affected area and massage until completely absorbed. Repeat the application several times a day.

Cardiospermum halicacabum Ø 10 g. Excipients: Liquid Paraffin, Emulsifying Cetostearyl Alcohol (Type A), Soft White Paraffin, Purified Water, Ethanol 94%, (m / m). Contains hydrophilic excipient with 14.5% ethanol.
