Glycerine Macerate

Composition and properties
The bud extract is obtained from the maceration of young shoots of Olea europea. The main known constituents are: oleuropein (glucoside), saponins, tannins, organic acids, fats and enzymes. L 'Olea e. manifests cholesterol-lowering, anti-hypertensive, hypoglycemic and anti-arteriosclerosis action, the latter resulting from the correction of two risk factors: hypercholesterolemia and arterial hypertension. Experimentally, the glycerine macerate reduces cholesterol and total lipemia, balances total phospholipids and decreases blood viscosity.

Indications

Hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia. (type II according to Fredrickson).
Hypertension.
Arteriosclerosis.
Type II or adult diabetes.

Prescription procedure
Prescribe Olea 1 DH, 40 drops, 1 or 2 times a day. In hypercholesterolemia, associate Birch Lymph MG In arterial hypertension, alternate Olea europea with Crataegus oxycantha MG and associate Tilia tomentosa MG
