Description

Complete supplement, essential for supplementing the home, elimination, or boneless BARF diet of older dogs. The presence of mineral macroelements (calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine, sodium and potassium), of mineral trace elements (zinc, iron, copper, manganese, selenium and iodine) and of all vitamins has been carefully weighted taking into account the typical deficiencies of traditional home diets.

The high intake of antioxidant nutrients (vitamins E and C, Taurine, Echinacea and PanaxGinseng) contributes to the good functioning of the immune system. Inulin, with its prebiotic action, favors the balance of intestinal bacterial microflora, reducing the risk of constipation. The precursors of cartilage (Chondroitin sulfate and Glucosamine), antioxidants and manganese contribute to the well-being of the joints, often suffering in the elderly animal, while the correct balance of calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D contributes to the health of the skeletal system. The coexistence of Taurine, Carnitine and antioxidant nutrients can improve heart function.

ESSENTIAL Senior Dog has a reduced allergenic power, as it does not contain protein sources, and is therefore suitable for use in dogs suffering from food allergies or intolerances.
All ESSENTIAL supplements have been formulated in collaboration with dog and cat nutrition teachers at leading Italian universities.
