Medical product. Promotes skin repair and reduces the visibility of scars after surgery and dermatology.

For who? For what?

Medical product indicated for the treatment of localized and extensive scars caused by skin lesions from dermatological or surgical interventions (closed ferrite) or second degree burns (laser, radiotherapy). Adults. Face, body, joints, mobile areas.

What kind of scars? After the closure of the wound and the removal of the stitches, both sutures and strips, and in cases where it is applicable: after the sutures (fractures, traffic accidents, domestic accidents, cosmetic surgery, etc.); after second degree burns caused by prolonged contact with a very hot or cold substance (water, hot oil, fire, hot plastic, ice, etc.); after a caesarean section; in case of radiodermatitis; after a thyroidectomy; in case of ear surgery (otoplasty); post-tattoo removal; post-removal in radiofrequency moles; after laser hair removal, if the contact was too long or intense etc.

To help people regain comfort on scarred skin, SVR has developed its second medical product in accordance with international clinical recommendations: "Silicones are recommended in first-line treatment for the management of all scars and for the prevention of keloids and hypertrophic scars. "2

The formula is very concentrated of rigorously selected silicones. It is non-greasy, has a non-greasy gel texture and forms a semi-occlusive and invisible film, to provide protection to the skin:

How does it work?

Skin is a protective barrier that needs repairing when it is damaged. The regeneration process is based on 3 overlapping phases: the vascular and inflammatory phase, the tissue repair phase, and the remodeling phase, which can last up to 2 years. The final phase is essential for the restructuring of the skin and to regain its shape. This phase is therefore crucial for the definitive appearance of the scar. It can last from a few months to a few years. If your scar is younger than 24 months, you can still influence its final appearance. Over two years, its appearance becomes permanent.

How to use it?

Apply twice a day on closed wounds and scars. Make sure the skin is clean and dry before application.

Do not use for more than 30 days.

In case of sun exposure, protect the wound to limit the risk of developing red or brown marks.

Warnings and Precautions: CICAVIT DM + Scars is for external use only. If the problem persists, discontinue use and consult a physician. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package. Do not apply to eyes or mucous membranes.

Keep for 12 months after opening. Store at room temperatures.

Contraindications

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not use on open wounds. Do not use in conjunction with local dressings. In case of skin problems, consult your doctor. It is not indicated for pregnant or lactating women.
