CISTEURIL
Food supplement based on a sachet A containing proanthocyanidins from Mirtillorosso, Mannose and Vitamin C and a sachet B containing Lactobacillus acidophilus, useful in promoting the functionality of the urinary tract.Gluten-free and lactose-free, with sweeteners.
CISTEURIL Sachet A contains cranberry proanthocyanidins, D-Mannose and Vitamin C, all useful ingredients in promoting the physiological functionality of the urinary tract through mechanisms that help prevent the adhesion (and therefore the colonization) of pathogenic bacteria on the mucous membrane of the bladder. .
The L. acidophilus LA 14 contained in sachet B is a particular strain of actobacillus resistant to unfavorable growth conditions, since it has a high tolerance to intestinal conditions (acids, bile, pepsin, etc.), and favors the development of various pathogenic bacteria for our organism such as Escherichia Coli, Proteus mirabilis and Staphilococcus responsible for dacystitis infections.
PACs from Cranberry Proanthocyanidins useful in preventing bacterial adhesion to the urothelium.
D-mannose
It is a simple sugar extracted from larch or birch wood. It has the ability to eradicate very stubborn germs that lurk at the level of the urinary tract (Escherichia Coli). It is poorly metabolised and eliminated directly in the urine; the D-mannose contained in the urine binds to E. Coli bacteria and allows their elimination. D-Mannose can be used in both acute urinary tract infections and milder episodes of cystitis. D-mannose does not directly kill Escherichia Coli but allows it to be expelled into the urinary tract. Bacteria present in the urine prefer to attach themselves to D-mannose rather than to the bladder mucosa and are thus eliminated through the urinary stream.
C vitamin
It favors the acidification of the urine, creating an unfavorable environment for bacterial growth.
Lactobacillus Acidophilus
It can survive at high temperatures, cross unscathed the acidic and alkaline tracts of the stomach and, once there, it can adhere to its walls and proliferate. It produces two powerful natural antibiotics, acidolin and acidophilin, effective results in eliminating the pathogenic bacteria Escherichia Coli, Proteus mirabilis, the various types of Clostridium, Salmonella, Shigella and Staphilococcus. It reduces the incidence of yeast infections (Candida). It supplies the body with the enzyme Lactase and intervenes in the assimilation and production of B vitamins.
