Cistinyx tablets is a food supplement adjuvant in the treatment of urinary tract disorders (UTI - Urinary Tract Infections - mainly caused by Escherichia Coli and S. Aureus but also Gardnerella vaginalis, Prevotella, Peptostreptococcus and others): candidiasis, vulvodynia, urethritis, prostatitis, bacteriuria, bacterial vaginosis and in particular cystitis in its various forms: bacterial cystitis, post-coital cystitis, interstitial cystitis, recurrent cystitis, peri-menopausal and post-menopausal cystitis, constipation cystitis, relapsing cystitis.

The synergistic composition of the ingredients that compose it allows to obtain an optimization of its effectiveness for the well-being of the urinary tract. The synergy develops through the combined action of N-Acetylcysteine, which favors the breakdown of the protective biofilm of which the bacteria (E. Coli and S. Aureus), of D-Mannose and of the PACs of Cranberry (proanthocyanidins). that bind to the "adhesins" of the bacteria preventing them from sticking to the tissues and favoring their escape by emptying the bladder, the antiseptic action of the Ursina Grape and the soothing action of the Mallow.

The mechanism of action

1. Pathogenic bacteria, mainly Escherichia Coli and S. Aureus.
2. D-mannose binds to bacteria via mannose-sensitive adhesins; Cranberry PACs bind to bacteria through mannose-resistant adhesins;
3. The "adhesin occupation" action prevents bacteria from attaching to the urinary tract epithelium.
4. The "occupied" bacteria are excreted via the urine
5. The bladder becomes pathogen free again. A fundamental process now begins: prevention against relapses and recurring forms

How and why to take Cistinyx

General rules-methods of recruitment:

• Always empty your bladder before taking.
• Take the tablets with a large glass of water, between meals.
• Morning intake: drink plenty of water 1 hour after intake.
• Evening intake: drink a small amount of water after intake to allow the product to act during the night.
• Drink at least 2-2.5 liters of water per day.

Indications for a healthy use of Cistinyx as a prevention in particular lifestyle models.

• Prevention. For prevention purposes, it is recommended to take 1-2 tablets a day, in the evening before going to bed.
• Sport activity. Different sports can favor the onset of a urinary infection: cycling, horse riding, swimming ...: Take 1-2 tablets just after sports and after urinating.
• Sexual intercourse / post-coital cystitis: empty the bladder after intercourse and take 2 tablets. Continue with 4 tablets for the next two days: 2 in the morning and two in the evening.
• Beach holidays / summer or travel cystitis: take 1-2 tablets a day, in the evening before bedtime.
• Bedridden people or those with limited walking take 1-2 tablets a day, in the evening before going to bed.

Intake schedule from the acute phase to the maintenance and prevention phase.

• from day 1 to day 7: 4 tablets per day: 2 tablets in the morning (plenty of water) and 2 tablets in the evening before going to bed (in the evening drink a little water)
• from day 8 to day 17: 3 tablets per day: 1 tablet in the morning (plenty of water) and 2 tablets in the evening before going to bed (drink a little water in the evening)
• from day 18 to day 31: 2 tablets in the evening, before going to bed (drink a little water in the evening)
• from day 32 to day 60: 1 tablet in the evening, before going to bed (drink a little water in the evening)
