Clin 4000 what it is for

Medical device class IIa. Laxative in powder for oral solution based on Macrogol 4000. It is particularly indicated in chronic constipation; it is also indicated in the case of an occasionally irregular bowel. Thanks to its affinity for water, it softens the stool facilitating the evacuation. In this way it promotes a sense of well-being and relief. It does not cause cramps, abdominal pain, or emergency conditions. Its effectiveness does not diminish over time.
It does not contain excipients or flavoring.
Unsweetened.

Clin 4000 how to use it

Dissolve the powder by mixing in any drink. The content of one sachet (10 g) should be dissolved in at least 125 ml (increase to 150 ml in children) of any drink, even hot, such as tea, herbal tea, milk, broth or fruit juice. The product does not alter the taste of the drink. Drink the solution thus reconstituted.It is recommended to take between meals.
Due to its safety features, it allows a wide dosing flexibility.

• Adults and children weighing more than 20 kg: 10 g (1 sachet), 1-3 times a day, according to the individual response. To achieve a faster effect, the maximum daily dose (30 g) can be taken in a single dose. In case of prolonged use, the dose can be reduced to 10 g (1 sachet) 1-2 times a day, even every other day, preferably in the evening.
• Children up to 20 kg: the dosage should be commensurate with body weight. We therefore recommend the use of the 200 g bottle of powder with a measuring spoon that allows you to customize the dose according to the real needs of the child until soft stools are obtained. Do not exceed the maximum daily dosage of 30 g.

Warnings for using Clin 4000

Do not take in case of: known hypersensitivity to macrogol; gastrointestinal perforation and / or obstruction.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the product must be used on medical prescription.
There are no known interactions with drugs but it is advisable that the intake of the product is separated by at least 2 hours from that of oral drugs.
Occasionally, abdominal distension and / or nausea may be noted which resolves with continued use. Rare cases of allergic reactions (rash, urticaria): in this case, discontinue use of the product and inform your doctor or pharmacist.
In case of overdose, diarrhea may occur which resolves spontaneously with discontinuation of the product.

Proper storage of the product

It is advisable to store in the original packaging in a cool and dry place, do not expose to heat sources. Do not consume the product if it is damaged or improperly stored.
