Clin 4000 is a laxative in powder form for oral solution based on Macrogol 4000 studied by Ipsen Consumer Healthcare, it is particularly indicated in cases of chronic constipation, but it can also be used in situations of occasionally irregular bowel, let's see specifically what it consists of .

How should clin 4000 powder be taken

In a very simple way, just dissolve the powder by mixing in any drink at room temperature, 10 g of powder should be dissolved in at least 125 ml (increase to 150 ml in pediatric age) of any drink, even hot, such as tea, herbal teas, milk, broth or fruit juice, the product does not alter the taste of the drink.
Drink the solution thus reconstituted.
It is recommended to take away from meals.
Due to its safety features, it allows a wide dosing flexibility.
Adults and children weighing more than 20 kg: 10 g, 1-3 times a day, according to individual response.
To achieve a faster effect, the maximum daily dose (30 g) can be taken in a single dose.
In case of prolonged use, the dose can be reduced to 10 g 1- 2 times a day, even every other day, preferably in the evening.
Children up to 20 kg: the dosage should be commensurate with body weight. We therefore recommend the use of the 200 g bottle of powder with measuring spoon that allows you to customize the dose according to the real needs of the child until soft stools are obtained.
Do not exceed the maximum daily dosage of 30 g.

Warnings and contraindications for using Clin 4000

Do not take in case of: known hypersensitivity to macrogol; gastrointestinal perforation and / or obstruction.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the product must be used on medical prescription.
There are no known interactions with drugs but it is advisable that the intake of the product is separated by at least 2 hours from that of oral drugs.
Occasionally abdominal distension and / or nausea may be noted which resolve with continued use. Rare cases of allergic reactions (rash, urticaria): in this case, stop using the product and inform your doctor or pharmacist.
