Clomeval® gel is a medical device useful as an adjunct in the treatment of symptoms such as itching, burning and irritation due to inflammation of the vaginal mucosa and infections of bacterial and / or fungal origin.

Action

Thanks to its composition it is recommended in cases where there is itching, redness and irritation; the polycarbophil with bioadhesive properties allows the complete adhesion of the preparation to the vaginal mucosa with consequent uniform and effective distribution of the functional substances that help protect the vaginal environment.

How does Clomeval® work?

Clomeval® is useful in cases where there is the presence of itching, redness and irritation and useful as an adjunct in the treatment of inflammation of the vaginal mucosa.

Method of use and dosage

Apply one application per day, for a maximum period of 7 days. Apply preferably in the evening before going to bed.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Assume the supine position, with legs slightly bent.
2. Take a disposable applicator from the wrapping and pull the plunger out of the disposable applicator as far as it will go.
3. Open the tube; insert the disposable applicator into the latter and fill the entire applicator with gel by exerting a careful pressure on the tube.
4. Remove the disposable applicator from the tube, insert it deeply into the vagina and empty it by applying regular pressure on the piston.
5. Remove the applicator and then discard it. Furthermore, it is recommended to use the product also externally on the vulvar and perineal area, locally applying a thin layer of gel, massaging until completely absorbed.

Warnings and Contraindications

The product is for vaginal use. Do not swallow. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity and incompatibility towards any component of the product. In confirmed or presumed pregnancy and in the case of concomitant local pharmacological therapies, the use of vaginal gel must only take place on the advice of your doctor or pharmacist. Use only on intact mucosa. The product is not intended for pediatric use. Keep the product out of sight and reach of children. Prolonged use of the product, as with all topical products, can give rise to sensitization or local irritation, if this happens, stop the treatment and consult your doctor or pharmacist. Do not use the product if the package or the applicator is damaged or not perfectly intact at the time of first opening. Use the product in accordance with the instructions for use. The applicator is for single use only and must not be reused. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Keep away from light and heat sources. The expiry date indicated refers to the intact and correctly stored product. Under normal and reasonably foreseeable conditions of use, no side effects related to the use of the product are known or expected. The tests carried out on the product to date have not shown sensitization phenomena or other side effects. In case of persistent discomfort, consult your doctor.
