COVID-19 antigen test

Description
The COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test is a lateral flow immunoassay method for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid antigen in the nasal swab of subjects with symptoms or other epidemiological reasons for suspected COVID-19 infection. This test is intended for self-use by individuals aged 15 and over and, as the case may be, by lay adults to test another individual under the age of 15. Subjects over 65 must request assistance in carrying out the test. The test provides only a preliminary screening result for the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Positive results must be confirmed by a PCR test performed in the laboratory. People with a negative test who continue to experience symptoms similar to those of COVID-19 should seek medical attention.

How to use
Test preparation
Ensure that all test components are at room temperature (15-30°C). Keep a clock, timer, or stopwatch handy. Check that the package is intact. Do not use the test if the package is visibly damaged. Open the test cassette package only at the time of use. Use test cassette within one hour of opening. Wash your hands with soap and water and dry them thoroughly.
Step by step instructions
1. Opening tube with extraction reagent
Carefully remove the foil seal on the Extraction Reagent Tube.
2. Insert the tube into the tube holder: press the hole on the tube holder and insert the tube into the hole.
3. Open the swab from the end of the stick and remove it. Do not touch the sample head.
4. Gently insert the entire swab head approximately 2.5cm into the left nostril. Firmly roll the swab against the nostril wall 5 times or more. Also perform in the right nostril.
6. Insert the nasal swab into the tube with the extraction reagent.
7. Rotate the swab 5 times by pressing the swab head against the bottom and side of the tube. Leave the swab in the reagent for 1 minute.
8. Remove the swab by squeezing the sides of the tube to squeeze out the liquid from the swab. Close the tube tightly with the cap provided and insert the tube into the back of the tube holder.
9. Open the sealed pouch and remove the test cassette. The test cassette must remain flat on the table throughout the duration of the test.
10. Put the sample in the well. Hold the tube vertically above the sample well, not at an angle. Add 3 drops to the well by gently squeezing the sides of the tube. A false negative result may occur if less than 3 drops of sample are used. The result will not be affected if you accidentally add 1-2 extra drops of sample - provided you can read a C line.
11. Read the result after 15-20 minutes. Do not read the result if more than 20 minutes have passed. Erroneous results may occur if test results are read before 15 minutes or after 20 minutes.
RESULTS
Positive: Two lines appear. One colored line appears in the control region (C) and another colored line appears in the test region (T). The strength of the test line is irrelevant. A positive test result indicates that you probably carry the disease COVID-19. You should have a laboratory PCR test as soon as possible to confirm the diagnosis of COVID-19, and follow your local home isolation guidelines to avoid passing the virus on to others.
Negative: A colored line appears in the cont region
