Clytox® Vétoquinol Eye Drops

Physiological solution for the regular cleaning of the periocular area of dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, rodents, birds, reptiles and horses.
Aqueous, isotonic and buffered solution, which also contains plant extracts with antiseptic, anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory, decongestant and soothing properties.
It is indicated for normal cleaning of the eye, ocular discharge, red eyes, allergic conjunctivitis, dry eye and to reduce the coloring of the hair around the eyes.
Equipped with a soft and atraumatic cannula.
It does not contain any preservatives.
Chamomile
Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) contains gaiazulen, a powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic substance for the eyes.
Euphrasia
Euphrasia, also called “myopic herb”, contains many substances such as tannins, iridoid glycosides (aucubin), phenolic acids, flavonoids and essential oils with decongestant and anti-allergic properties for the eyes and upper respiratory tract.
Calendula
The dried flowers of Calendula, also called Marigold, contain many substances, such as icarotenoids, flavonoids, glycosides, essential oils, sterols, resin, sapogenin. Lacalendula has been widely used for its healing properties: soothing, analgesic, antiseptic and astringent. The resin and sapogenins above all have a direct and fast decongestant effect on red eyes.
Rose water
Rose petals contain tannins and gallic acid with tonic and tightening properties, but also soothing, moisturizing and invigorating.
Hamamelis water
Hamamelis water is calming and decongesting, especially when used together with Calendula.
Sodium borate / boric acid
Sodium borate is used as an antiseptic and decongestant component; associated with its own conjugated boric acid, it stabilizes the pH of the solution to a physiological range of about 7.4.
Methylene blue
Methylene blue is a substance with mild antiseptic and antibacterial action. Together with sodium borate, it also helps to limit the coloration of the hair around the eyes, especially in animals with white fur.

How to use

Use 2-3 times a week to several times a day as needed.
Cleaning the eye area: moisten a cotton ball or gauze with Clytox and gently cleanse the area, removing scabs and impurities.
After use, remove any excess residue.

Rose water; Hamamelis water; sodium borate; boric acid; natural plant extracts (Calendula officinalis, Euphrasia officinalis, Matricaria recutita), dimethylene blue; buffering excipient (pH = 7.4).
