Collanol contributes to the normal functioning of the musculoskeletal system, helping to maintain the normal conditions of bones, joints and cartilages.
Collanol is produced according to the DUOCAP patented technology (capsule-in-capsule) for the combined insertion and the two-phase release of the ingredients.
The capsules are: solvent-free, without preservatives, sugar-free, GMO-free.

Property

The two patented active ingredients of Collanol, intact collagen type II (UC-II) and micellar extract of turmeric (NovaSOL), act in synergy in favor of the regeneration of the normal condition of the joints, tendons and cartilages helping to improve joint mobility. There are five main types of collagen known in medicine, but only one is responsible for joints, tendons and cartilage, type II collagen. The intact collagen type II, also called non-denatured, contained in Collanol, is obtained from chicken cartilage through a patented production process at low temperature, in which the natural three-dimensional spiral of collagen remains intact.
Thanks to this triple spiral, once in the small intestine, intact collagen type II causes an immune response called oral tolerance. Special immune cells (Treg) are activated, which have the ability to retain the degradation process of the articular cartilage and, with a prolonged action, transform it towards the reactivation of the natural process of synthesis of collagen in the human body. The result is represented by the stimulation of self-recovery and the reconstruction of cartilage tissues. Thanks to its unique mechanism of action, intact type II collagen has high efficacy at low doses, only 40 mg per day (the content of 1 capsule of Collanol).
The effectiveness of Collanol is further enhanced by the addition of the highly concentrated extract of the turmeric from NovaSOL, a rich source of curcumin.
Curcumin has a very high antioxidant potential. It has been clinically proven that, thanks to the patented solubilization technology and its cellular formula, the curcumin incorporated in Collanol achieves a bioavailability 185 times greater than the normal turmeric extract. This also explains its remarkable low-dose efficacy.
Laboratory tests show that 500 mg of micellar curcumin equates to about 5 g of plain curcumin powder.

Thanks to the antioxidant properties of curcumin and its ability to purify the body from nitric oxide, Collanol helps to slow down cellular aging processes and to maintain health and activity:
- joints (helps protect the cells that make up the cartilage, chondrocytes);
- of the gastrointestinal tract;
- of the brain;
- of the skin.
