Collisport Aria is a lubricating and photo protective ophthalmic solution . Its formula has been specially designed for sportsmen who carry out outdoor activities and are more exposed to oxidative stress phenomena affecting the eyes due to wind and atmospheric agents in general.

The eye, due to its structure and its anatomical position, is constantly in contact with light and is one of the organs that most undergoes the action of free radicals, directly and indirectly, because exposure to light radiation determines an increase in the physiological concentration of ROS (free radicals), responsible for the oxidative reactions of the cornea and conjunctiva. The correct use of an eye drop formulated with a photo protective sunscreen improves the eye's reaction to the sun's action.

COLLISPORT AIR EYE DROPS CONTAINS SUPEROXIDE DISMUTASE (SOD), PVM / MA, COPOLYMER CARBOXIMETHYLBETAGLUCAN

SOD - Superoxide Dismutase is one of the most important antioxidant enzymes, naturally present also in the tear fluid and involved in the regulation of tissue damage induced by Ros (free radicals), unstable and highly reactive compounds responsible for the oxidative damage to biological macromolecules, such as DNA, carbohydrates and proteins. The use of antioxidants to mitigate oxidative stress in the eye has a high therapeutic value as it reduces damage related to inflammatory processes in the eye.

PVM / MA copolymer is a copolymer with high biocompatibility and high lubricating capacity as it can be defined as a “film former”. The presence of polymers in ophthalmic solutions plays an important lubricating action and therefore they are used in the treatment of ocular discomfort. This polymer also increases the permanence of the product on the ocular surface and this represents a great advantage by virtue of the fact that the wash-out performed by the tear fluid tends to quickly remove everything that comes into contact with the eyes.

Carboxymethylbetaglucan is a polysaccharide substance with moisturizing and protective properties against oxidative stress induced by UVA radiation. It can be considered a viscoelastic agent and therefore improves and prolongs the permanence of the ophthalmic solution on the eye, allowing the eye drops to perform their action in a more lasting way.

Collisport Aria is a preservative-free eye drop.

The OSD (Ophthalmic Squeeze Dispenser) packaging technology is a new drop dispensing system and allows the absolute sterility of the product, without the use of preservatives, extending the storage and use period.
