Alternate two pieces for colostomy is a system indicated in the collection of stomal waste. This is a medical device pursuant to Directive 93/42 / EEC.
The bag has a closed bottom.
The bag is available in both transparent and opaque (flesh-colored) versions with the back in non-woven fabric.
The bag is available in two different formats: midi and maxi.
The range is completed by both opaque and transparent pediatric bags.
The bag is equipped with a rectangular anti-odor filter (2x1 cm), positioned inside the bag itself (at the back at the top), for the elimination of gases. This filter is protected from inactivation by two membranes.
The bag is equipped with a special attachment ring with safety closure for application on the bag flange.
Composition
The bag is composed of a fourfold layer of polyethylene -ethylvinylacetate-polyvinylchloride -etivinylacetate.
The non-woven back is made of polyester.
The filter is made of activated carbon, covered by an innermost semipermeable membrane (permeable to gases but not to humidity and faeces) of polypropylene and by an outermost horseshoe-shaped membrane, for further protection, of high density polyethylene and ethyl vinyl acetate .
The coupling ring is made of low density polyethylene.
The safety closure is in polypropylene.
