Alterna ^® Mio urostomy bag has a mechanical attachment for added security

• The bag is firmly fixed to the adhesive plate by means of a mechanical attachment system. An audible 'Click' confirms the secure locking of the pouch to the adhesive plate.
• Before the pouch is closed, it can be rotated to the desired position, without having to remove the pouch from the adhesive plate.
• The pouch can be removed from the spiral adhesive plate, allowing the pouch to be replaced more frequently than the adhesive plate.

Alterna ^® Mio Urostomy Bag is available with clear and Pro adhesive plate, flat or convex. The wide assortment consists of a range of adhesive plates with pre-cut sizes cut out for maximum customization, accompanied by bags in two sizes, available in transparent or opaque color.

Alterna ^® [Extra] adhesive offers additional protection against more aggressive effluents. It is suitable for people with ileostomy or urostomy who have more aggressive effluents which can cause standard adhesives to peel off more easily.

A comfortable and discreet bag

• Check valve - prevents urine from returning to the stoma, reducing the risk of urinary infections.
• Retractable Drain Faucet - Easy to use, can be hidden when not in use. This prevents chafing on the leg, providing greater comfort and discretion.
• Multi-section - the bag is divided into sections that spread urine evenly inside the bag. This allows you to have a bag with a flat and discreet profile, also reducing the noises due to the movement of urine.
  

Convexity, for difficult to manage ostomies

Alterna ^® Mio Urostomy Pouch is available in two different levels of convexity and is designed to help with a difficult to manage ostomy (for example, a stoma that is flush, retracted or located in a skin fold). Apply pressure to the peristomal skin to reduce the risk of leakage by allowing the stoma to protrude.

Convex Light:

A solution for flush or slightly recessed stomata, which offers additional protection thanks to light and gentle pressure on the abdomen.

Convex:

A solution for retracted stomata, deep skin folds and scars, providing extra protection through moderate to high pressure on the abdomen.
