The two-piece Alterna ^® devices are available with an adhesive plate, flat or convex, for standard and extended application. These devices can be combined with open, closed or urostomy bags, and with a range of special solutions such as night bags, MiniCaps and much more. The wide assortment consists of a range of adhesive plates in pre-cut or cut-out formats for maximum customization, accompanied by pouches in a variety of formats available in transparent and opaque versions. Alterna ^® adhesive offers additional protection against large spills . It is suitable for people with ileostomy or urostomy who have large leaks that can cause standard adhesives to peel too quickly.
