Biatain ^® Ibu Soft-Hold is an absorbent, soft and flexible foam dressing. The Biatain ^® Ibu Soft-Hold Dressing combines moist wound healing with local release of ibuprofen.

In contact with exudate, the unique 3D foam structure of Biatain ^® conforms perfectly to the wound bed - even under compression (3,6).

Biatain ^® Ibu Soft-Hold is a soft and flexible dressing that offers the patient a high level of comfort (1,2).

Combines moist wound healing with local release of ibuprofen
In the presence of exudate, a small dose of ibuprofen is continuously delivered to the wound bed for the entire service life of the dressing (up to 7 days) (1,7).

Injury healing doesn't have to be painful
Comparative studies show a reduction in wound pain in patients using Biatain ^® Ibu compared to those using non-ibuprofen-containing dressings (4,5).

Mode of action
Ibuprofen is released when foam comes into contact with wound exudate (1,7).

Composition
Biatain ^® Ibu Soft-Hold is an absorbent polyurethane foam dressing containing 0.5 mg / cm ² of ibuprofen evenly distributed throughout the foam matrix (2).

Usage
Biatain ^® Ibu Soft-Hold is indicated for a wide range of low to highly exuding wounds, including acute wounds such as second degree burns, post-operative wounds and skin abrasions, as well as chronic wounds such as leg ulcers , pressure ulcers and uninfected diabetic foot ulcers. Biatain ^® Ibu Soft-Hold is suitable for use in combination with compression therapy. Biatain ^® Ibu Soft-Hold should not be used on skin sampling sites.
