Comfeel Plus Contour

Comfeel Plus can be used for the treatment of low to moderately exuding wounds, including leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, superficial burns, superficial partial thickness burns, skin sampling sites, post- surgery and skin abrasions. The dressing can remain in place for up to 7 days depending on the specific characteristics of the wound.

It can be used as both a primary and secondary dressing

Comfeel Plus can be used directly on low to moderately exuding wounds, on the appearance of a wound or in the final stages of healing. Comfeel Plus can also be used as a secondary dressing.

Available in different formats for use in all parts of the body

The Comfeel Plus product range is available in normal square formats as well as shaped, sacral and pressure relief variants to suit all needs.

Semi-permeable external film, protects against external exogenous bacteria and is impermeable to water

The outer semipermeable film increases perspiration based on the amount of exudate, but prevents water and bacteria from entering the wound.

Mode of action

In contact with wound exudate, the dressing forms a viscous gel that absorbs exudate without adhering to the wound, creating the ideal moist environment for the healing process.

Composition of the product

Comfeel Plus is composed of absorbent sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) particles encapsulated in an elastic and adhesive mass. Calcium alginate was added to the dressing to increase its absorption. The top layer is made of semi-permeable polyurethane.
