Dietary supplement

It is a food supplement based on Currant, Euphrasia, Helichrysum and Allium Cepa. Currants, Euphrasia and Helichrysum contribute to the well-being of the nose and throat. Euphrasia and Allium Cepa are also useful for promoting the fluidity of bronchial secretions.

Property

Allium cepa is indicated in the treatment of acute and chronic rhinitis caused by pollen from herbaceous or shrub plants or by damp cold. Symptoms include sneezing, burning in the eyelids, abnormal tearing, hypersensitivity to light, and abundant oculo-nasal discharge.
The aerial parts of Euphrasia contain lignans, glycosides, acid-phenols and an essential oil, which give the plant an anti-inflammatory and antibacterial action, supported in particular by the presence of iridoids, flavonoids and tannins (euphrasiotannic acid). Euphrasia is used in herbal medicine and homeopathy as a decongestant of the ocular area, useful for soothing the eyelids, relieving the symptoms of conjunctivitis, both of infectious origin and caused by allergy and to soothe eye irritation, due to too much exposure to the sun or lamps, wind and irritating atmospheric agents.
The flowering tops of the Helichrysum are used in phytotherapy in the treatment of allergies, which affect the airways and skin tissues. Today's clinical studies have in fact demonstrated the usefulness of helichrysum in respiratory diseases, both allergic and infectious, justified by the presence of essential oils, flavonoids and triterpenes, elipirone, sitosterol, caffeic acid. These active ingredients in their synergistic action give the plant antihistamine, anti-inflammatory, expectorant and antibacterial properties. In fact, the Helichrysum promotes the elimination of bronchial catarrh, attenuates the excessive spasms of asthma and allergic inflammations of the nasal mucosa. For internal use, the plant is therefore used in the treatment of allergy, in the presence of rhinitis, conjunctivitis and allergic blepharitis, cough, acute and chronic bronchitis.
Ribes nigrum, in particular flavonoids and glycosides, act as stimulants of the adrenal glands in the production of cortisol, an endogenous cortisone that helps the body to react to inflammation. The blackcurrant bud extract is therefore used for its powerful natural anti-inflammatory and antihistamine properties that act on both the skin and respiratory tract levels; and is therefore indicated in cases of asthma, allergic and chronic rhinitis, bronchitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis, dermatitis and conjunctivitis. It also has an immunostimulating action, fights fatigue and increases resistance to cold in order to prevent flu diseases.

Dosage

We recommend taking 1-2 capsules a day, as needed, to be swallowed with a large sip of water.
