CONFORM 2 Hollister® CeraPlus Soft Convex Plate - Medical Device

The Conform 2 CeraPlus Convex Soft Plate is a medical device for use with Conform 2 bags for colostomy, ileostomy and urostomy. Plate with square anatomical design with rounded corners, ensures maximum flexibility and adaptability to the contours of the body, to the advantage of comfort and adherence, against the risk of infiltration.
With CeraPlus Hydrocolloid, with Remois technology, and infused with ceramides. Ceramide is a natural component of the skin that helps prevent the loss of transepidermal water which can cause dryness and damage to the skin. CeraPlus is designed to protect the skin's natural moisture barrier and help keep peristomal skin healthy from day one.
Soft convex profile thanks to the flexible insert, depth of about 6 mm, atraumatic, with anatomically designed design to even out the pressure on the entire affected area.
The adhesive edge helps to ensure greater peace of mind for the patient and increase confidence, especially in the case of skin folds and variable topography. Simple to use, does not require additional products. Thinner adhesive at the edges to prevent lifting caused by moisture and movement.
Self-supporting protective barrier with differentiated thickness, extremely flexible, with decreasing thickness from the center to the edges.
Clear protective film with tab and clipping guide to facilitate hydrocolloid inspection, preparation and application.
The floating flange (Hollister Incorporated patent) with CenterPoint Lock coupling mechanism, designed to allow atraumatic application without pressure on the abdomen, makes the ultra thin bag-plate system less rigid and more comfortable and allows maximum freedom of movement. A "click" confirms the closure of the coupling mechanism ensuring absolute safety.

How to use

It is recommended to keep the plate in place for 2 to 7 days.
