1. Insert the protective disk (with the silver side facing up) into the cone up to under the flame arrester ring; turn on the top (wider) part of the cone.
2. Place the head on a horizontal plane and insert the lower part of the cone into the ear. Support the cone with one hand, taking care to always keep it vertical. If it is well positioned, no smoke should come out between the cone and the ear.
3. When the flame has burnt the cone up to the flame-break ring, remove it from the ear and extinguish the flame by immersing the cone in a glass of water (previously prepared). Repeat the treatment in the other ear.
