Aquacel ag + Extra

AQUACEL®Ag + Extra is a primary antimicrobial dressing for infected wounds or at risk of infection. This dressing is designed to manage the 3 main barriers to healing - exudate, infection and biofilm. AQUACEL®Ag + Extra is a sterile antimicrobial dressing composed of Hydrofiber ™ technology (soft hydrocolloid fibers of pure sodium carboxymethylcellulose) and Ag + ™ technology which is also effective against biofilm.1 AQUACEL®Ag + Extra is available in flat and tape format. AQUACEL®Ag + Extra is composed of 2 layers of Hydrofiber Technology sewn together and which make it 9 times more resistant and 50% more absorbent than the standard version of AQUACEL ™ Ag .2
