Alpha-lipoic acid is involved in the transformation of glucose and fat into energy. It is able to increase the efficiency of insulin, but it can also improve the transport of glucose into cells using pathways independent from those of insulin itself.
It is also an antioxidant, a substance that potentially neutralizes harmful chemicals called free radicals. It works as an antioxidant both in water and in adipose tissues, unlike the more common antioxidants (vitamin C and E), managing to penetrate into every part of neurons protecting them from dangerous degeneration. It has a normalizing action on nerve communication, optimizing its functionality thereby reducing both pain and sensory numbness. It is capable of recycling antioxidants such as vitamin C and glutathione after they are completely consumed. Glutathione is an important antioxidant that helps the body eliminate harmful substances.

VITAMINS OF GROUP B
They have a plastic value, that is, they facilitate the construction of new cells and therefore of new living tissue. They are also specific to the functioning of the nervous system.
VITAMIN B1 or Thiamine
It is essential for the use of glucose, therefore its deficiency does not allow to use the energy of this sugar.
VITAMIN B2 or Riboflamina
Tremor, asthenia, dizziness, dropsy, and difficulty urinating are all symptoms of deficiency. One of the most interesting aspects of riboflavin is its protective role, together with an enzyme called glutathione reductase, against free radicals.
VITAMIN B6 or Pyridoxine
Acts synergistically with zinc to inhibit the action of peripheral 5 alpha reductase (enzyme that transforms testosterone into another form called DHT). The vitamin can reduce blurred vision.
VITAMIN B12 or Cobalamine
It protects the nervous system in periods of particular physical fatigue or stress, promotes the formation of red blood cells and the absorption of fats and carbohydrates.

Indications
Peripheral and Central Neuropathies, Diabetic Neuropathies, Post-Herpetic Neuropathies, Retinopathies, Canalicular Syndromes and Motor Radiculopathies.
