Cosequin Gatto is a product specifically indicated to improve joint function in cats suffering from joint degeneration and osteoarthritis.

Cosequin Gatto contains Glucosamine FCHG49® and low molecular weight chondroitin sulphate TRH122®. These are exclusive ingredients, supported by scientific observations of effectiveness. These ingredients have been formulated to improve and preserve joint health.

Glucosamine FCHG49® acts as a building block of cartilage providing a key nutrient that keeps cartilage cells healthy and allows them to function properly. TRH122® chondroitin sulphate helps to counteract some enzymes responsible for cartilage degeneration.

Glucosamine FCHG49® and chondroitin sulphate TRH122® act in synergy by increasing the production of cartilage and inhibiting the mediators involved in its degeneration.

Cosequin Gatto also supports bladder health. The inner lining of the bladder wall is in fact protected by a layer that contains some of the same components found in cartilage. This layer prevents urine and waste products contained in it from penetrating and damaging the bladder wall. Therefore, the TRH122® chondroitin sulphate present in Cosequin Gatto, is able to effectively support the urothelium of the bladder.

Cosequin Gatto is in capsules containing a palatable powder. The capsules can be opened and the contents mixed with food or sprinkled on it. If the cat eats dry food, the food can be moistened with a small amount of water to allow the dust to adhere. Alternatively, the contents of the capsule can be mixed with a small amount of wet food, so as to ensure a complete intake of the product. Available in packs of 45 capsules.

Long-term maintenance period: Once the desired effect is achieved, the capsules can be administered every other day for maintenance. For veterinary use only.
