Cryseida: where it comes from.

The discovery of chrysalis oil happened by chance in Corsica, in the early 1900s.

A doctor on duty at the silk factory noticed that when the women extracting the silkworm from the cocoon accidentally cut themselves, their wounds healed quickly. The workers showed no signs and had particularly soft and "silky" hands.

The doctor together with the local pharmacist decided to study the phenomenon. He discovered that the benefits were due to the oily liquid contained in the silkworm.
The oil was thus tested on patients suffering from sunburn and psoriasis, finding its benefits. Subsequently the extraction process was patented.

The Silkworm Chrysalis Oil was developed and tested at the beginning of the 20th century by a team of dermatologists from a Spanish university, on people with dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis problems with unexpected results.

Chrysalis Oil, containing proteins, fat-soluble and water-soluble vitamins, essential amino acids, omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, has accelerating properties on the replacement of epithelial cells and is active as an adjuvant in all skin problems and is appreciated both in medicine and in dermatology.
