Caries Protection Toothpaste

The problem: enamel and dentin, the main hard tissues of the teeth, are attacked daily by bacterial plaque, dietary foods, chewing and incorrect oral hygiene maneuvers. The single or combined action of these aggressive factors can lead, if prolonged sufficiently, to a loss of often irreversible mineral substances. The problems involved in these processes can be of infectious origin - dental caries - or physical chemical - erosion and abrasion

Unfortunately, once damaged, enamel and dentin are unable to repair themselves. Therefore their regeneration can only take place thanks to external interventions that allow the formation and regrowth of hydroxyapatite crystals which constitute their natural structure.

The solution: Biosmalto caries protection consists of two functional substances in microcrystalline form: Fluoro-Hydroxyapatite and the bio-active complex, composed of biomimetic hydroxyapatite substituted with magnesium, strontium and carbonate ions conjugated with chitosan. The combined action of these microcrystals gives Biosmalto Caries Protection a high bioactivity, which rebuilds enamel and dentin

Chitosan, a bio-adhesive polymer, prolongs the action of active ions and inhibits the deposition of bacterial biofilm

Use: Biosmalto Caries Protection toothpaste is particularly suitable for:
prevent caries lesions and inhibit the formation of bacterial plaque
strengthen and rebuild enamel and dentin damaged by initial carious lesions, brushing and chewing abrasions, acid eating erosions or gastroesophageal reflux
Also useful after dental treatments such as tartar ablation and whitening

Also ideal for patients with orthodontic appliances

How to use: Adult toothpaste. We recommend using the product daily at least twice a day. There is no need to rinse after brushing your teeth. If possible use in combination with Biosmalto caries protection mouthwash
