Non-Adherent Dressing

Cuticerin is a greasy gauze composed of a support coated with neutral ointment that prevents the wound from drying out. The meshes of the fabric composed of acetate fibers are filament-free to prevent the granulation fabric from being incorporated into the meshes themselves; this allows for removal of the atraumatic dressing without disturbing the newly formed tissue.

Characteristics

• Permeable to exudates (manageable with secondary dressing)
• It leaves no residue in the wound
• Easy to remove
• It does not smudge
