Cutifass Polisil Fass Farma Medications
Indicated in the treatment of exuding wounds such as
- Leg ulcer and pressure sores
- Acute or chronic wounds, burns, donor areas and non-infected wounds (example: diabetic foot), second degree burns, post-operative wounds and wounds with peri-lesional areas.
Cutifass Polisil is a non-adhesive, micro-adherent polyurethane and silicone foam dressing.

How to use
Clean the wound with saline. Carefully dry the area around the wound. For a good fixation, the dressing should exceed the wound by 1-2 cm. Place the dressing centrally to fully cover the wound. Peel back the protective sheets and apply the dressing with the silicone part to the wound, pressing lightly on the edges to ensure the dressing is fixed. The frequency of changing Cutifass Polisil dressings depends on the clinical evolution of the wound or on the appearance of signs of saturation (vesicles approximately 1-2 cm from the edge of the adhesive dressing). The dressing can be kept on the wound for 3-4 days depending on the amount of exudate and the nature of the wound.
Warnings
The use of Cutifass Polisil dressings on scab-covered wounds, on necrotic tissues is contraindicated. In this case, before applying the dressing, the necrotic tissue will be removed with established medical procedures. If signs of a local infection appear, treatment can only be continued with the doctor's agreement. After use, dispose of the used dressing in biological waste; in case of reuse there is a danger of biological contamination.
