What is Cystoman 100 used for and what is it?

Cystoman 100 in tablets is an adjuvant supplement for antibiotic-resistant cystitis based on D-Mannose, a monosaccharide that is absorbed in the upper part of the intestinal tube and arrives unaltered in the urinary canal by attaching itself to the walls and to the bacterium responsible for cystitis, favoring its expulsion via urine. The product is an alternative to antibiotic treatment when this is ineffective. Also useful in the prevention of chronic relapsing cystitis.

Dosage and method of use of Cystoman 100

The assumption is very simple just take 1 capsule after the last urine of the evening, 1 after the first urine of the morning.

The first treatment must last up to a week after symptom remission (about 10 days) and, as a prophylaxis, it must be repeated for 10 days every 2-3 months.
The capsules are gastroprotected, covered with a whitish patina, they must be swallowed (without opening them) with a sip of water.
In the case of small children, the capsule can be opened and its contents dissolved in water (approximately 30% of the active ingredient is lost).

Specific characteristics of the product Cystoman 100 tablets

Contains D-Mannose, a monosaccharide, isomer of glucose, which once ingested is absorbed in the upper intestinal tract, is not metabolized, is not converted into glycogen, nor stored in the liver. It arrives unaltered in the urinary canal and attaches itself to the walls and to the bacterium and finally, it is expelled with leurine.
The product is an alternative to antibiotic treatment when this is not conclusive. Effective in the prevention of chronic relapsing cystitis.
