USE AND RESULTS

Apply morning and evening before the cream with the help of a cotton pad, insisting on the areas where dilated pores, wrinkles and spots are more visible, avoiding the eye contour and the lip mucosa.

10% glycolic acid

CURIOSITY

Glycolic acid is one of the tools most used by aesthetic doctors and beauticians as a peeling. For this purpose, aesthetic doctors use it up to concentrations of 70%; beauticians usually up to 20%, with pH normally below 3.0. In these conditions, glycolic acid carries out a markedly exfoliating action and can give rise to more or less marked irritative phenomena that require application and assistance by qualified personnel. The use of these high concentrations also depend on the fact that professional sessions are not daily but occasional. A calibrated concentration (10%) of glycolic acid at a buffered pH of 4.0 was used in the glycolic power products. In such conditions this prodigious molecule behaves not as an exfoliant but as a regenerating and balanced renewing agent. It can thus be used as a daily treatment in complete safety, following the small precautions given in the way of use. At these concentrations, the process of promoting cell renewal is more physiological and respectful of the optimal maturation times of the skin cells. Behavior in the sun: If you do not carry out direct exposure to the sun (holidays by the sea, in the mountains, exposure to sun lamps, ...) the products can also be used all year round, remembering, in summer and on particularly sunny days , to apply over a cream or foundation with sunscreens (from SPF 15 upwards depending on the phototype). To protect skin that is more sensitive to ultraviolet rays, suspend the treatment 10 days before the period of direct exposure to the sun and resume it about a week after cessation.
