Complementary feed with folic acid

Description

Folic acid or vitamin B9 is a water-soluble folate, synthesized by intestinal bacteria and present in some green leafy foods. It is involved in the synthesis of important molecules such as DNA and RNA, and proteins and is essential for the cells of the animal's organism, which undergo differentiation and rapid proliferation processes. Folic acid is absorbed in the small intestine, stored in the liver and then distributed in the various tissues of the body.

ITS ACTION IS FUNDAMENTAL

In reproduction, as it plays a fundamental role in the synthesis of DNA in rapidly multiplying tissues
In pregnancy, as it helps prevent the onset of malformations, in particular of the neural tube
In elderly subjects, thanks to the beneficial effects on cognitive function
To enhance the immune system, supporting the activity of NK (Natural Killer) lymphocytes, essential in case of viral infections and the appearance of neoplastic cells
In case of alteration of the enteric mucosa, which leads to a reduction in the absorption of folate
In subjects at risk of anemia, by acting on rapidly multiplying cells
In cats with pancreatic insufficiency with SIBO and concomitant small bowel disease (conditions that can lead to folic acid deficiency)

COMPOSITION

Hydrolyzed animal proteins, magnesium salt of stearic acid. Additives: Nutritional additives: Vitamins, provitamins and chemically well defined substances with similar effect: 3a316 folic acid 16,667 mg / kg. Technological additives: microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal silica.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Your veterinarian will be able to recommend changes in dosage.

• In dogs 1 tablet per day.
• In the Cat ½ tablet per day.
