Antireflux food supplement, useful in cases of pharyngolaryngitis caused by gastroesophageal flow (GERD).
Sodium alginate
It is a chemical compound formed from the sodium salt of alginic acid, with formaminima NaC6H7O6. Extracted from the cell walls of algae, it looks like a rubber and has numerous uses in both the food and pharmaceutical fields. The suspension formed by sodium alginate, once ingested, reacts with the hydrochloric acid present in the stomach, forming a covering of the consistency of an alginic acid gel at the level of the cardia. This gelled structure of sodium alginate, with pH characteristics close to neutral, floats on top of food in the stomach, effectively preventing gastroesophageal reflux.
Sodium bicarbonate
Sodium hydrogen carbonate or sodium hydrogen carbonate or monosodium carbonate (sodium obicarbonate which is the more common name, but which has been deprecated by the IUPAC) is a sodium salt of carbonic acid. Unlike carbonate, hydrogen carbonate retains a hydrogen ion of the corresponding acid.
Melatonin
It is an epiphyseal hormone, also secreted by extraglandular tissue. Experimental studies on animals indicate that the hormone increases the concentration of aminobutyric acid and serotonin in the midbrain and hypothalamus and increases the activity of pyridoxal kinase, an enzyme involved in the synthesis of aminobutyric acid, dopamine and serotonin.

Ingrediants
Thickeners: sorbitol; sodium alginate; acidity regulator citric acid; sodium bicarbonate; flavorings; anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide; sweetener: sucralose; melatonin.

How to use
Take one sachet a day after meals to dissolve in water.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age.
Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied diet.
For pregnant or lactating women and children it is recommended to consult the doctor.
Contains sugar alcohols: excessive consumption can have laxative effects.

Store in a cool, dry place away from light and direct sources of heat.
