FOR THE SYMPTOMATIC TREATMENT OF ATOPIC DERMATITIS

Dermaveel® is a cream product, recommended for the treatment of Atopic Dermatitis and other dermatoses of unknown origin, associated with dry skin, erythema (redness) and itching.
Relieves the main symptoms of Atopic Dermatitis by moisturizing the skin; restores the skin barrier; strengthens the skin's resistance to external agents.

ATOPIC DERMATITIS

Atopic Dermatitis (AD) is an inflammatory, itchy, chronic or chronic-relapsing skin disease.
It affects young adults and children.
Atopic Dermatitis is one of the most common skin diseases.
Atopic Dermatitis typically begins in early childhood.
Both genetic and environmental factors participate in the development of Atopic Dermatitis.
Skin manifestations vary according to age and stage of the disease (acute or chronic).
Most cases are mild, but some patients have severe skin lesions.
Atopic Dermatitis reduces the quality of life of patients and their families.

The main symptoms and signs include itching, erythema, edema, dryness, erosions / abrasions. The most frequent complications of Atopic Dermatitis are secondary bacterial (e.g. Staphylococcus) and viral (e.g. herpetic eczema) and fungal infections.

THE SKIN BARRIER

The importance of the skin barrier in the cause and development of Atopic Dermatitis has recently emerged and, therefore, its restoration and maintenance are an important component of the treatment of the disease. The skin barrier abnormalities associated with Atopic Dermatitis facilitate allergic sensitization, microbial infections, irritation and, subsequently, inflammation. The altered skin integrity, secondary to changes in the structure of the stratum corneum (the most superficial of the skin) - for example due to the lack of intercellular lipids - increases the loss of transepidermal water (i.e. eliminated through the skin) helping to trigger inflammatory phenomena and altering the repair processes.

The stratum corneum also constitutes the main protective barrier against environmental allergens and microbial agents. This is why it is important to break the "vicious circle" of Atopic Dermatitis: dehydration-skin damage-inflammation

FUNCTIONAL COMPONENTS

Dermaveel® is composed of a combination of substances that soften, moisturize and protect the skin, reduce skin dryness helping to reduce redness, increase the skin's resistance to external agents, helping to relieve itching .

WHEN TO USE

In case of Atopic Dermatitis or other associated dermatoses of unknown origin and itching, erythema and dry skin. Thanks to its protective properties, Dermaveel® can also be used to prevent recurring episodes.

METHOD OF USE

Apply Dermaveel® twice a day or as needed. Gently massage the cream on the affected skin area until it is completely absorbed.
